Bashang Grassland -one of the key destinations in our itinerary and a highlight of the journey, is the closest true grassland region to Beijing, located about 350 km from the city center. Within a few hours, you can leave the capital behind and arrive in wide-open riding terrain.
The area is known for having one of the strongest horse cultures in northern China. Horses are part of everyday life here, not a staged attraction, making it an ideal place for authentic grassland riding.

Day 1: Arrival in Beijing
Arrive in Beijing and transfer to your pre-arranged hotel in central Beijing at your convenience.
Taxis and ride-hailing apps are very convenient in the city, so getting around is easy.
Take the day to rest, recover from travel, and prepare for the journey ahead.

Day 2: Cultural Exploration in Beijing
Morning:
Start the day at the South Gate of the Temple of Heaven, enter the Temple of Heaven for a guided walk through its expansive grounds. As you pass ancient cypress trees and imperial architecture, your guide will explain the site’s historical significance, its role in imperial rituals, and the symbolism behind its design. Along the way, you’ll see locals engaged in morning activities such as singing, stretching, and calligraphy, offering an authentic glimpse into daily life in Beijing.
The experience concludes at the East Gate, where you’ll join a relaxing Tai Chi session led by a local master. Learn basic movements, focus on breathing, and enjoy a peaceful moment in one of Beijing’s most iconic settings.
This half-day experience blends history, and mindfulness -an easy and meaningful way to start the day.

Day 3: Beijing Breakfast Tour& First Ride
We start the day with a Beijing breakfast tour near Nanluoguxiang (6 spots food crawl, aroudn 2.5hr)
Around 12:00 PM, depart for Miyun by a private van.
In the afternoon, arrive at Miyun Ranch -our own professional riding base-and take part in a 3-hour introductory horseback ride. This first ride is designed to help you get comfortable with the horses, equipment, and riding environment with 1:3 coach-to-rider ratio. Experienced riders also can gallop here freely.
Riding time: ~3 hours

Day 4: Miyun Riding & Transfer to Bashang Grasslands
Morning:
Continue riding at Miyun with another 3-hour horseback session, focusing on building confidence, balance, and control.
Miyun serves as the perfect warm-up and foundation for the journey ahead. Under close supervision with a 1:3 coach-to-rider ratio, riders refine basic aids, develop rhythm with their horses, and prepare safely for more open terrain.
The Miyun riding area also offers a unique landscape experience, with lush riverside trails and forest paths—an emerald-green contrast to the open grasslands that follow.
Afternoon:
After lunch, transfer to the Bashang Grasslands by a private van, approximately 3 hours.
Riding time: ~3 hours

Day 5: Bashang Grasslands Full-Day Riding
Spend a full day exploring the vast and open landscapes of the Bashang Grasslands on horseback with a 1:3 coach-to-rider ratio.
Ride across sweeping steppe terrain, enjoying wide horizons and a sense of freedom unique to this region.
Riding time: Full day (Around 6-7 hours)
Overnight: Bashang Grasslands

Day 6: Bashang Grasslands Full-Day Riding
A second full day dedicated to riding through the Bashang Grasslands, and also with a 1:3 coach-to-rider ratio.
With confidence built over the previous days, riders can fully immerse themselves in the scenery, pace, and rhythm of long-distance grassland riding.
Riding time: Full day (Around 6-7 hours)

Day 7: Horse Theme Park & Return Journey
Morning:
After breakfast, visit a nearby Horse Theme Park, featuring equestrian-themed attractions and performances. Admission is included.
Afternoon:
Begin the return journey at approximately 3:00 PM, concluding the tour.
