I’m Lin, born in Sichuan, surrounded by bold flavors, family recipes, and the traditions that define Chinese cuisine. My travels across Asia and beyond—from hidden street food stalls to family-run eateries—taught me how food and culture are always connected. Now I have already lived in Beijing for 7 years.
The more I explored, the more I realized that China’s own food story—Beijing hutong noodles, steaming hotpot, century-old teahouses, and the art of Peking Duck—was still untold to the world. It’s not just dishes, but the way neighbors gather in courtyards, how recipes pass down for generations, and how daily life shapes flavor.
